Microsoft Edge missing in Windows 10?

Recently had a client with a Windows 10 system that inexplicably had Microsoft Edge just disappear from the system.  Doing a search for Edge from the start button didn't bring it up, and it wasn't pinned anywhere (either on the start menu or the task bar).  While you can make a shortcut to the exe file in a directory, it doesn't work like other exe files, and doesn't start.  However, you can easily return Edge to the system in 4 easy steps.

Open C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Packages\microsoft.microsoftedge_8wekyb3d8bbwe

Remove all folder items therein

Open Powershell (as admin)

Enter Get-AppxPackage –AllUsers –Name Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage –DisableDevelopmentMode –Register “$($_.InstallLocatoin)\AppxManifest.xml” –Verbose}

 Following these 4 easy steps retuned the browser shortcuts and opened the program.
